Fox News Anchor Hospitalized Following Sudden Shivering Episode Live on Air

Fox News anchor John Roberts, 68, has been hospitalized after being diagnosed with an advanced case of malaria. He told People that he first noticed something was wrong on Monday, when he began shivering uncontrollably while filming a segment. Roberts said his whole body hurt “from the top of my head to the tip of my toes.”Blood tests revealed that both his platelet and white blood cell counts were dangerously low, leading doctors to run more tests. Once the malaria diagnosis was confirmed, Roberts admitted he “was a little scared.” Malaria is spread by mosquitoes and, if not treated quickly, can become life-threatening.
